Notes: Marley is a 7 year old blond Pekingese who weighs 10 pounds. He enjoys relaxing beside his favorite person, going for short leisurely strolls, and keeping an eye on everything happening around him.

Marley gets along with other small dogs, although he is happiest simply sharing space rather than actively playing. We prefer his new family to be familiar with the Pekingese breed. He has a charming personality and a touch of stubbornness. Marley likes to ride in the car, and he has flown in a plane cabin with his person. While he is a mature dog, he enjoys exploring the yard and taking in the sights and sounds around him.

Marley has been to an eye specialist who diagnosed his left eye with "dry eye" (KCS), which means he needs tacrolimus eye drops 2 times a day for the rest of his life. These eye drops are approximately $55 a bottle and last about 8 weeks. One bottle will be included with him upon adoption.

There is an application process and the adoption fee is $500.

WE REQUIRE AN ALL ADULT HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD. The secure fence must be attached to the home, 4 feet or higher with gaps with no larger than 1.5 inches. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace without grass, temporary fencing, dog pens or dog lots or community shared fencing (dog park) are NOT considered secure fencing. If your fencing has "puppy pickets" (or is supplemented with garden fencing) it needs to be at least 36 inches high from the ground up AT THE LOWEST POINT. No exceptions.
